I went to visit my sister while she lived in Nagasaki, Japan.
Waiting one morning in the lobby of the hotel I saw a video ad for a trip to Gukanjima and I was OMG I’ve always wanted to visit. As my sister lives on a yacht I asked if we could go to the island. At the time only the officially sanctioned day-trippers could set foot on the island, and even then they were limited to proscribed walkways.
